Advantages: Ultraportable, Stylish, Internal DVD±RW, Long Battery Life Disadvantages: Few External Ports, Small Screen, Extortionate Price Tag
...this there is nothing amazing about the internal specification. With an Intel CoreSoloU1400/1.2GHz and 1GB of DDRII RAM there's enough to run day-to-day tasks in Vista but anything more can cause quite a slowdown. The internal DVD±RW can bring the battery life down by an hour or so if it's in constant use but otherwise isn't a problem.
The main flaw I found with using this laptop was the low number of ports provided. The mere 2 USB ports meant that nothing much else could be used alongside my external mouse and flash drive. Also, the speakers are only mediocre which is nothing less than I'd expect from a laptop.
The other major drawback for this is the whopping £1,500 price tag. I'm quite sure that at least £300 of this is the VAIO badge. That's the biggest flaw I can find in Sony laptops and I detest it. I have only even seen one of these because...

Advantages: where to start, it's got everything : 30gb HDD, fingerprint scanner, small lightweight, 4.5 inch bright screen, 2 cameras, wifi, bluetooth, WWAN Disadvantages: slightly chunky, sim slot is secure/comes with cingular sim

First off, I got it from the US as this device is not available in the UK yet, but is priced on Expansys for £1,599.
So I bought it from Dynanmism.com, who were very helpful and considerably cheaper at £1034 excluding customs, which I haven't had to pay yet (I might get billed).
It's a 1.2ghz intel coresolo processor with 30GB HDD. It comes with Windows XP professional.
The looks of this thing are amazing, it's got a bright 4.5 inch screen that slides up to reveal a very nice keyboard with little blue LEDS.
The screen is very bright, although the desktop can look kind of small which is why there's a magnification button which also acts as a zoom in when you've got the camera function on.
It...
