The Samsung R519 notebook is undoubtedly a very good machine, it has 3gb of ram, a dual core t3400 processor and is perfect for businessmen or travellers. this is due to the fact that it is relatively light and portable, it also boasts a 320GB hard drive and comes with many other cool gadgets such as a recovery solution program and samsung's update plus making it extremely easy to update any outdated drivers. The laptop is also matte not gloss so is not a fingerprint magnet. The display is widescreen and HD so looks stunning when watching a movie, i bought this machine for £420 last year but that may have significantly dropped now.

On the other hand, there are a few disadvantages to this machine, the laptop is sold by Currys who lets face it no hardly anything technical wise, the laptop speakers are very tinny so external speakers may be required for watching movies or listening to music, as far as gaming is concerned, i would not necessarily go for this machine, i would go for one of Samsung's x series as they have faster graphics cards, although anything more than 3 years old will run smooth on this laptop. Finally, if you are looking for a portable laptop that you can surf the web or run applications on, this may be the perfect solution for you.
