...fairly similar size. The Samsung fridge freezer appealed to us because it has adjustable solid glass shelves (our old fridge had wire shelves, which was a nightmare if you were trying to stand anything narrow up), plenty of space in the fridge door for bottles, clear freezer trays (handy for when you're trying to locate missing pizzas) and it was a funky silver colour.
Ease Of Use
------------------
Instructions for using your new fridge freezer:
... ...Curry's bring it into the kitchen.
2) Insert plug into plug socket.
3) Load with food.
And that's pretty much it. There is a fairly easy-to-understand instruction booklet that comes with it though in case you need to troubleshoot.
Once it's up and running, it needs a quick wipe over when it gets grubby, although the silver casing seems to hide the dirt on appliances a lot better than white casing does. This model is frost-free so, in theory, ...

Advantages: looks great and is easy to clean Disadvantages: None yet
...much debate opted for the Samsung RL33SBNS. Reasons for choosing the Samsung: Size - the fridge is huge and with adjustable shelving storing even akward items is easy. I was limited to the width of appliance that I could choose so a side by side fridge freezer was out of the question but this is very spacious. Energy Efficiency - A-Rated but then most are.
The Freezer Drawers - they are glass fronted which makes finding things a lot easier. They ... ...and broke so having to take anything out of the freezer or put anything in became a nightmare. So far the Samsungs drawers have been fine and they can be lifted in and out easily. Looks - Aluminium which is easily kept clean and looks good.
Price - I paid £270 for mine which I thought was reasonable. Overall I'm very happy with it and now much prefer it to my previous fridger freezer. It has a tendancy to make the odd Darth Vader noise but I think ...

This is a very smart looking fridge freezer, the silver metalic finish looks the part, although it does tend to show up fingerprints if you don't use the recessed handles to open the doors. The doors themselves require a bit of effort to open, I would imagine this would not be very useful for people who have any kind of problem with arthritis or the like and may even be a struggle for the younger child.
The fridge section is cavernous and the glass ... ...big enough to hold quite a few bottles of wine or milk if needed and has plenty of movable sections for cheese, butter, etc.Temperature wise seems to work fine so far.
The downside is the freezer, as a couple we were not really bothered about a big freezer section so the size didn't matter.
The problem is the drawers, particulally the top drawer, access is restricted by the depth of the fridge door, so trying to get to food at the back of the draw ...

Advantages: Looks good, practical in application Disadvantages: Has proved unrealiable. Fridge keeps frosting up.
...a problem and the notorious Samsung customer service has been extremely frustrating. The fridge keeps frosting up and customer service from Samsung is unsatisfactory. Their staff don't know what they are talking about, they use an 0870 number and keep you hanging on. We received contradictory advice from different staff and wasted a lot of time doing something we were asked to do, which a staff member then could not deal with. There appoears to be ...

Quick review of Samsung RL33SBNS Review ofSamsung RL33SBNSby
GRMat158
Works well but now the lining of the freezer has split where the drawers run - results in the drawers being hard to move. Many others have reported stiff/difficult drawers - wonder how many have got this problem. Currys/Dixons replaced first time as it was only a few days after we bought it. Samsung have offered a repair under warranty - lasted a few months this time - but not sure that I trust it to get any better.
Also, the much reported noisiness is not pleasant. Certainly not worthy of its Which best buy rating.
Note that the actual model I have is the white one RL33SBSW
