I could have easily upgraded my sights and chosen the ML 1710, which is Samsung’s next model up from the ML 1510, as it was priced at no more than £5 extra across the market and in fact was identical in price at the retailer where I was shopping. The only difference between the 1510 and the 1710 is that the former prints at a respectable 14 ppm (pages per minute) and the later pips it at 17 ppm. The ML 1510 would suffice in my case as the printer was destined for a life of sporadic home use the extra three pages per minute would have made pitifully little difference, and indeed the only advantage would be the satisfaction that I did not buy the entry-level model. However if the printer is destined for a life of regular office type use I would recommend the ML 1710 if not something else altogether. It was mostly... Read review

Advantages: Quiet, lots of room for upgrades, 7 x usb 2, memory card reader
Disadvantages: Making the buttons on base bigger and placing them more conveniently would make it easier to use the cd/dvd drives.

(Looks back at description...) thinks - I am sure I use this computer for more than that (loads of leisure and work activities...) but that is all I can think about at the moment... Originally I attempted to order online on the Dell website but I had trouble, I kept getting an error page, but I think that was more due to software on my old computer than the website! I then telephoned and ordered, explained to the the Dell customer representative exactly what I wanted as I already knew the Dell code and specs of the 5150 pc with different additions... Advantages: Very Good Laptop for Audio/Video and commercial applications

Recovery Pro manual is in several European languages and gives most of the details in case of crash or emergency and how to recover them. Warranty and support: The Laptop contains a Warranty manual in hard copy. There is one year warranty against defect in material or workmanship. Please note that this is return to base warranty which means that the buyer has to carry it to the Samsung support centre for any repairs. This is very bare minimum support. There is another higher level of support called fastGuard which costs around 100 Pounds but it is free presently for one year if the buyer registers on the Samsung website within a month of purchase of the laptop. Samsung usually give 90 days of fastGuard service free. This sort of fast track for support or defects... Read review
