Advantages Instantly recognised by Win7, very quiet, fast transfer rate
Disadvantages Cant think of any
This review is for the Samsung external 750gb portable hard drive.
I received this as a Christmas present and was very impressed with it. I needed extra storage for all the media I had on my laptop and this was perfect to comliment the 320GB I already have in my laptop.
I plugged it in to a spare USB socket on my laptop and it was instantly recognised by Win7, the drivers were loaded within 1 minute and it was ready to go.
It has a fast transfer rate and it's very quiet.
It was easy to set up new folders for all the various content I needed to add.
I now have all my photos and music safely stored and I still have approximately 300GB free.
It is constantly conected and I've never had a problem retreiving data from it.
