Advantages: very clear photos due to anti-shake! Great memory space!
Disadvantages: none except it needs batteries! looks rather fragile!

...so far. I do trust Samsung products very much as whenever I have bought a Samsung product it has never gone faulty or had any problems. ...use a digital camera this could be a good choice of camera for you. The picture quality on this camera is actually very good, nice bright pictures and very clear. One problem I have found though is that the colour purple always looks blue, unless you use the flash in a dark place. ya this product is best .when i compare with the other cam which i own ie.(sony cybetshot).i would like u prefer this cam. Advantages: Although it's 6 megabytes, it's sufficently clear for web images.
Disadvantages: I wished the two AA batteries could last longer than 50 minutes for videos though!

...As a complete novice in the DSLR camera. I required something to shoot Silver Jewellery for my own use. Previous camera was a Samsung S630, which was ok but just not up to the job for a top quality shot. The E-410 was excellent. Shot items in a lightbox with a cyan background. Got a good clean shot with accurate colours, minimal reflections. From switching on to a shot I was satisfied with, in less than an hour. This was with plenty of messing about. I spent many an hour pondering on wether to go high end compact or bottom end SLR. I think I made the right choice. Lots of options to learn but this camera still works fine for the novice. The bigc1960 review is bang on. Shame I hadn't thought to check up on this first! If you want a good first DSLR camera, you could do far worse than this. Shop around though as prices can vary...
