...After my white Asus Eee PC 1000H got stolen, I decided to replace it with a black Samsung NC10. The Asus and this Samsung are what is known as a netbook. It?s sort of a small, low cost laptop to let you surf the net, while you?re out and about. I bought it off Dixons.co.uk for £322 in December 2009 (had a 5% off coupon) but it?s going for around £310 at the moment in most places.
CHOICES
The NC10 is Samsung's first stab at the netbook market and they?ve done a blinding job of it. I believe it even won an award for it. The NC10 comes in three flavours, those being black, blue and white. I chose the black as it looks prettier. The white one also looks great but I figured that it would start to pick up dirt and go a bit black, especially the keyboard and touchpad. The white version has a matte lid so doesn't pick up...

Advantages: quite fast printing Disadvantages: software + poor scanning
...The SamsungSCX-4100 is a good black-and-white laser printer but lacks on the copier + scanner .
i only use it to print off letters or long docements as the pics come out ok but i prefer to use my colour printer for pics.
the SCX-4016 i think is better but it costs around £60 more .
what i have found with the printer is that it can print up to 15 pages per minute
The SCX-4100 is compatible with Linux but not with Macs which is a downside but still It offers good-quality printing, poor scanning and standalone copying which is useful
the toners cost's about £40 - £50
That makes the SCX-4100 the bargain choice in my mind

The printer itself is a diversified laser B / W, the ability of the comprehensive enough. However, this printer can be used only to print, to copy and scanning. One capability that is less fax function. Perfomance of the printer is quite reliable.... more
