Disadvantages: buttons close to slider,poss risk of charger slot/microsd slot covers breaking off

...I have been used to Nokia all my life and couldnt see past them...until i switched to a razr and then to this Samsung sgh 600. This i did on advice from my 17year old boy!!. i cant say i am a phone-a-holic,but i am quite taken with this one for many reasons.First of all is the looks and second,general ease of use.Thirdly,my main complaint with all other phones was the battery life,especially when on bluetooth headset,where the battery lasted the same as the lifetime of a mayfly...if you were lucky. This seems much better. I cant comment on the freebies as i didnt get any as it was a free upgrade. Overall i am please with the phone and will not rush to change it. My only 2 niggles are the fiddlyness of the charging cover etc on phone,and the fact that the buttons are a shade to close to the bottom of the slider for comfort... Read review

...I have had my Samsung for 5 months now and I love it! The stylish design and the easy to use main menu. The phone has alot of feature 5 mega pix camera, video, completely touch screen, Bluetooth, internet browser,3G calling, 8gb memory card ect. In my opinion when I first brought the phone I was shocked at how much this item was, but when I started to use this phone and took advantage of all its features I didn’t mind paying that extra. I salesman said the best thing to do is charge it over night so I can get the most out of the battery, he was right I only have to charge my phone 3 times a week. On the other hand on the odd occasion the phone will freeze when I’m trying to text or make a phone call but recently this hasn’t happened for some time. My friend has the same phone and her handset dose the same, she doesn’t like the phone... Read review

...The Samsung SGH-F480 phone is one of the most top of the range stylish phones out at the minute. With its touch screen technology its incredibly easy to use and get used to if you haven't had a touch phone before. The 8 megapixel camera is incredible and shows every detail, however that may not be good if you don't want the object to be noticable. Depending on what network you get the phone on and if it's on contract or pay as you go, varies in the value for money. Also this affects what comes with it, you may or may not get a memory card with it meaning you might have to pay extra, but that is the same as any phone you chose to buy.
