The superslim D900i Chrome is a supersexy sliding phone, complete with a high quality 3 more
megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, and a fully-featured music player with expandable memory to replace your MP3 player. With the feature of FM Radio, the D900i has been one of Samsung's most successful phones and is the best selling phone of 2008. Next the music player. This handles a good range of formats - MP3, ACC, ACC+ and e-AAC+ - and has very good sound reproduction with 3D virtual surround sound and a digital power amplifier. The player is easy to use with playlists of up to 30 tracks. You can use the stereo headset supplied by Samsung or a wireless Bluetooth headset. The built-in memory is 70 Mbytes, which is enough to get started, but if you're serious about using the phone as an MP3 player you can buy a Micro SD card - a 512 Mbyte card costs around £15. The only real downside on the music front is that there's no radio included.

Advantages: Slim, good aesthetics. Good calling and SMS features. Disadvantages: Internet access basic, camera response slow and controls difficult to understand.

The 3.0MP camera has reasonably high quality, and also has a flash facility, which can double-up as a light. The quality of pictures is reasonable, but can be a bit tedious, as you do need to keep the camera set on the image for about 5 seconds for the image to develop.

...excellent, by far the best Samsung have had so far (in my opinion anyway). The camara is 3 megapixels which is better than most other brands and the quality is just amazing. Even without the flash (the only disadvantage I have found that the flash is not automatic and you have to go through a menu to get to it.) There is plenty of storage in built and you can also buy SD memory cards in different sizes. (I wanted one free with the phone, but alas, ...
