The Samsung E250 is a great cell phone despite its mentionable flaws and critical points with an overall rating that will suit the need of the mass community and will reach your expectations.
First of all, SME250 is based GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 terminal, a 2G (EDGE, so it's a 2.75G ) unfortunately not a 3G, so you can't make video conference phone call. But, that's a not big loss comparing the big range of features.
The clamshell (comes in different colors, black, silver, pink) design is very slick and lovable. A dimension of 99.5 x 49.5 x 14.1 mm, weighing 80g makes the phone very light (you won't feel in your pocket or purse (for the ladies ;)) and very fragile piece of equipment as well. I've heard several complaints about the design regarding the keypad and the screen display, possibility getting damage in short term of usage.
A very organized interface is embedded into the cell phone. The menus might be slightly confusing for a beginner, with the default black dazzling theme. You can always enjoy your music and videos in SME, save thousands of songs thanks MICROsd external cards reaching 4GB. The more that makes it even better is the powerful Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It takes you to a whole new level communication. Notably, capable of AMR, polyphonics, MP3, AAC, AAC+, media files and with an excellent media features (WAP, MMS, instant messanging, WAP, HTMX).
The major critical part is the digital camera (0.3 Mega pixels) It 's definitely not suitable for professional photos shooting.
Another major issue, not only for this SME but for all samsung batteries (with all due respect to samsung firm). The standby and talk time for the battery is extremely short. You will end up having the cell all day in battery charger for two hours use.
All though, SME has great applications in the inside with Java MIDP 2.0, FM radio, MP3/AAC/AAC+ player, T9, Organizer, Built-in, handsfree, Voice memo which comes in handy accomplishing daily tasks. 1000 phone contact entry is fair enough (even for business man). For some of you, it can be the phone you want. But for some who's looking for durable mobiles with longlife battery. This is not the recommended marterial.
