Problems that may occur is that the ribbon inside the area that flips tends to start to break which causes the screens colours to distort and ... ...pounds. It is a good phone stylish in baby blue small enough and light and has everything you need including bluetooth and a good quite loud MP3 player. Although i do think this is a good product and satisfies most peoples needs i think for the price it is at you could get a newer and more upgraded phone than this one. Advantages: Practical, functional, good looking phone. Disadvantages: A bit outdated...
I have used the SamsungSGH-N500 occasionally for a year or so now, it was originally purchased on eBay (locked to o2) for the bargain price of £50. When it was being sold it retailed for between 60-120, I doubt you'll find it around new anymore having been superseded by the new C100 (similar but colour screen).
The phone is very stylish and tactile, all the lines, features and buttons seem to be in just the right place - this is something I've always admired in Samsung phones. From the moment I began to use it I realised it is essentially the same operating system and layout as the older Samsung R210, which I also owned around a year previous to this (may do a review of that one sometime too).
When you power up, the screen illuminates a spectacularly bright light blue, this is one of the best backlights I've seen and always turns ...
Advantages: Nice Color LCD,Service LED,MMS,GPRS,xHTML,infra,1000 phonebook,200SMS,Java,9MB Memory Disadvantages: Slow MMS,Can't assign personal downloaded ringtone,not easy open case,keypad too close,software pro.
This review is for SamsungSGH-E100A, the asia version that comes with Chinese input even included T-9 for Chinese & Malay.

The phone package comes with, 1 handset, 1 battery, Travel adapter, hand strap, manual, wearable ear-microphone & surely need original warranty cards. (18 months in M'sia that comes with accident protection plan for 6 month-nice:)
WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE USING THIS PHONE?
* i personally recommend you purchase a extra battery or even a battery charge stand...cost it is very troublesome thing when you low in battery or everytime u need to charge with your set connected to the cable...OR sometime you may lost the rubber cap too.
WHY THE E100/E100A?
* IF you are a user of SamsungSGH-S500? then this upgrade is surely for you, cost it is the "improved" version of S500 that comes ...
