I got this phone around a year ago as an exchange for the O2 X1. (which was terrible... read my other review for more info!)
I loved it from the very first time I seen it. I charge mine around every three nights, which is good considering the amount of time I use the phone. (I'm definantly text-obsessed and forever playing games and phoning friends). The charger is very reliable and clicks into place, so it's easy to find my phone in the mornings when it's fell down the side of my bed, I just pull the cable and there it is! I tried that on other phones I used to have and the phone just fell off, leaving me on a quest down the side of the bed to find the phone.
It's relativly easy to type texts- the one problem with texting is having to change to the ABC mode every time you open the text screen- either I haven't found a way to save the settings or it's not possible. I prefer to type the texts rather then using the dictionary.
The phone book is reliable, and for each person you save onto the phone you can put in their mobile number, home number, office number, fax, other numbers, e-mail and put them into a group. You can also choose a graphic for that person, so when they ring the picture you choose comes up on the front screen. It's also possible to assign ringtones to different groups in your phonebook.
The camera is very good quality- my phone is currently holding 162 photos and I still have around quater of the memory left on the phone. There is a normal mode to take photos, a self shot mode (so you can see your face on the front screen as you look into the camera), multi shot (takes either 9 or 15 photos, so when you flick through the photos it appears as though the subject is moving), a night mode (which takes a few seconds to kick in but it's still relativly good quality) and capture (which saves the photo for a few seconds for you to look at.) There's also frames you can add around the photos, some with monkeys bodies etc, hearts, general frames and words like 'wow'.
There is a selection of effects to add to photos- grey, negative, sepia, emboss etc. There's also a timer which does come in useful at times.
Other features on the phone include a calculator, calender, timer, memo and to-do list, stopwatch, clock, alarm (the alarm tunes are quite catchy!) and a conversion tool.
The games on the phone already are Honey Ball, Go! Hamster (very addictive!!) and Bowling. The bowling games fun- you can play two player, it keeps me occupied during bus journeys etc. I also enjoy playing Bubblesmile, one of the JAVA games (the other is a snowballing game). They both have addictive qualities to them.
Overall- I love this phone. It has everything you could need (other then video messaging and MP3 which some of the newer models have.) It's also very sleek and small, and a nice design.
The only problem I had is that when the phones in my pocket I accidently press the button on the side to take photos and end up having to delete around 50 blank photos!
Also, sometimes it says 'limited service' and I have to switch the phone off to get a reception again!
Using it on holiday is very easy, it's still possible to do mainly everything you do in the UK.
The internet is easy to use on the phone, although sometimes it takes a while to connect to certain websites. I use the E-messenger service on my phone and check e-mails and all sorts when I'm out and about- it's very useful.
The phone was around £220 when I bought it- I think it is cheaper to buy now. I think it is worth the money I paid for it. The phone is also very durable- I've dropped it on wooden and cement floors and it's still holding together well! (Although once I did have to push a bit of plastic back into place!) If you're looking for a sleek, inexpensive phone which does the basics and more, then this is definantly the phone you need. I've had mine for around a year and it's still in excellent condition, as good as the day I bought it.

I like Samsung phones. As I don't always take a handbag out with me I'm sure I would take lots of unwanted pics too! :-)
