    I had the oportunity recently to get a free upgrade to my old mobile phone and after browsing through the various free phones available to me I opted for this new slimline slider from Samsung. What swung it for me with this phone was the looks. There is no denying that this is a lovely looking phone. The shiny aluminium bezel that surrounds the screen and soft keys and screen gives the Samsung a very professional look and the slide action is smooth in both directions.     Have had samsung phones for the past 4-5 years and each one gets better and better, I only go for simple phones which fulfill my needs. While this phone has e-mail and blue tooth capability I generally use it for texting and phoning. The slide up mechanism is smooth and and very durable, the top 4 buttons are touch sensative. As with most phones it has all the general functions on it such as a organiser, speed dial, photo and video capability. It has a resonable memory for a phone of its age.     The first thing you will notice about this phone is that it is beautiful. If has a brilliant mirror-like front, and can be used as a perfectly decent mirror if the phone is off. The camera is 2 Megapixels, which churns out very nice photos. It also has some lovely effects you can put onto the photos. It has a nice music player, although the sound is rather tinny, and is not very loud, although it is fine for an average user.     This phone is very stylish, i have it in pink and it turns into a mirror when closed. Altho it is touch screen it is easy to master. The sound quality is good along with the camera and video standard. Only thing i didnt like when buying this phone is, it comes with the instructions on cd which i prefer to have a booklet to read off. I have yet to work out the photo software which seems rather complecated to work out. Took me a while to figure out the headset. This phone has lots of memorie and is overall easy to get to grips with for someone with a bit of knowledge on phones! It has the ... more
