...I decided to upgrade my Samsung D600e to a Samsung E900. There had been a lot of advertising for this particular model and I liked the look of it and its features so I decided to go for it. I wasn't happy with the handset the first day I bought it but as I got used to using the buttons It grew on me and now I'm really happy.

The E900 is of a rectangular shape and is black. It's another one of Samsung's "slide ... ...accompanied below by a silver Samsung logo and beneath that the navigation menu button with the central enter button. Apart from that (when the phone is closed) the front just consists of black glass, when you slide the phone up 4 buttons light up around the navigation which are 2 shortcut menu buttons and the answer and end/cancel call buttons. Advantages: Great styling, loads of features Disadvantages: can slow down when you're looking through the memory card
...looks way better (check the samsung website and you can see for yourself) but its a shame that you can't download other skins to use. There's the normal range of abstract images for backgrounds which aren't too bad really, and when you connect the phone to the PC using the supplied software and cable you can quickly and easily transfer all your favourite images across to the phone, and back up your phone book, calendar etc.
The phone claims to be ... ...to my old phone, a Samsung sgh-zm60.
When the phone's charging, some people have complained that the screen lights up and won't turn off. I can appreciate that this might be annoying, but it isn't exactly rocket science - just turn the phone so it's face down! problem solved :D

I have had this phone for nearly a year now and it is a great phone.
I chose this phone because it is stylish and small enougth to fit into a small bag.
It has a touch screen facility which i think is good but can be quite annoying as they are so sensitive to touch and many times while i am txting i find that my finger brushes against the button and i exit and have to start all over again, which can drive you insane!
MP3 - This feature is easy ... ...of songs can be stored and these can also be used as ringtones which is great. It has excellent sound quailty.
Bluetooth - Great feature which gives you the oppurtunity to share pictures/ ringtones with another bluetooth user which is free of charge and only takes a few seconds.
