Advantages Unique and classy, large internal memory, music player

Disadvantages Only 2MP camera, Not 3G

Yet another innovative and funky design from Samsung - by now we should expect nothing less.

With the new circular scroll key which seems to be the trademark of Samsung's summer handsets this phone is billed as a "Wearable music icon with a unique design"!

The idea is truely to intergrate the MP3 player/mobile phone look and create somthing that is both... with the look of one of Samsungs first MP3 players and the retro and rare design of the swivel front this phone definitely stands out in a crowd.

It is small and compact weighing only 78g and measuring 87.8mm x 31mm x 20.5mm this handset can be carried in your pocket, small bag or even on a lanyard without weighing down your head and pulling on your neck.

It is a Tri-Band device which means it can be used in most places around the world including Europe and the USA.

It has both GPRS and WAP features which allow you to browse the internet and download additions to make the handset your own.

It includes a 2Megapixel camera and a clear 256K colour screen however where this phone excels is as a music player.

With both Polyphonic and MPS capabilities as well as an FM radio you can never be bored with this by your side.

A built in memory of 1GB allows for storage of around 1000 songs which can be downloaded via the handset or uploaded using the USB connection from your PC. A memory card slot is also available to extend the memory should you want to.

It also features vibrate funciton, and the ability to send SMS, MMS, EMS and Email. It has build in games and also the potential to download more should you wish to.

It also features a video plater, organizer, flight mode, calculator and voice memo.

With talk time of up to 3 hours and standby time of up to 250hours the need to charge it will depend greatly on how often you use the music player functions.

Available as standard in blue and black there is much potential to customize this handset so really reflect you and your personality.

The downside is likely to be the price, however with many new handsers being offered by Sony Ericsson - the current leaders in music player handserts, Samsung will have to be competitve for this unique handset to take off.
