On first glance of the Samsung Tocco F480 I am very impressed with it and like the look and feel. I also like how even though it is a touchscreen phone they have kept it to a fairly small size so... more

Advantages Advantages Superb Camera, decent MP3 player and FM Radio

Disadvantages Disadvantages Low Internal Memory, No GPS

I'll be honest with you; the Samsung Tocco (F480) was not my first choice mobile; I really wanted an iPhone. Sadly however, you can only acquire one of the Apple-esq wonders if you sell your soul and empty your wallet to O2. Don't get me wrong, I love O2; they have been my one and only network provider and the service has always been faultless. But whereas now I am paying £15 a month for a decent amount of texts and minutes, the lowest tariff for the iPhone is double that - and for your £30 a month you get a derisory 75 minutes and 125 texts. Oh, and you have to fork out the best part of £160 ... more

Advantages Advantages Great looking, easy to use, everything you want in a phone!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None!!!!

I have wanted this phone for MONTHS, and so when I finally got it last week I was made up!!!!! I'm just going to jump right in here rather than nattering on!!! LOOK: The phone is a rectangle shaped slide phone, when closed it's about 10cm tall and 5cm wide, and 1cm deep. It's a very dark grey colour with a deep red line around the outside, the keypad is also this same deep red. There are three buttons on the front, a call button a call end button/on-off button, and back button. Then a normal keypad where you slide the phone up. There is a small camera at the front of the phone, used for video ... more

Advantages Advantages Sleek, multi-functional little gadget

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not brilliant as a phone

My late husband was gadget daft. He liked to be the first person with the latest new technology and didn't seem to care that he paid through the nose for the privilege. His fascination for gadgets was never more keen than when it came to phones. He was the first person I knew who had a mobile phone that stored and played music, an old Samsung that sadly met its untimely end when he went swimming with it in his pocket while we were on holiday in Thailand. His last phone was the Nokia N95 which I inherited after he died. I used it for a few weeks before passing it on to our daughter, who thought ... more

    Advantages Advantages It's a phone...

Disadvantages Disadvantages ... when it works

*NEGA REVIEW!* This phone is so obviously trying to leech off the success that is the iPhone with its touch sensitivity. When I read that Samsung was releasing a touch screen phone called the Tocco I literally spat out a mouthful of putrefied goat's milk. Tocco is Italian for touch, so how many hotpots and involving how many Samsung executives for the Korean company were used when deciding on the name for the phone? It's like mixing kimchi with ice cream. With such a fusion of epic nastiness, you would also expect the phone to be a sod load of puck, and it is! The touch sensitivity is ... more

Advantages Advantages Good camera, music player, connectivity

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Call cut outs

This is by far the best phone I have ever had. I previously had a Sony Ericsson phone which I was very disappointed with so I quickly changed it for the Samsung Tocco as testing have previously owned Samsung phones & have been extremely pleased with them as i am with this. The first thing that stood out to me about this phone was the size of the screen which compared to other phones I have had is huge! It is also a very slim phone which for me adds to the appeal. When I first bought this phone back in June I couldn't wait to get home & try it out & I wasn't disappointed! In the box comes all ... more
