The samsung F840 looks very nice and is a very nice phone. When i first went to get a new phone from "Phones 4 u" i was shown this new handset, a very well detailed worker from the shop showed me and told me all about the phone and its perks. Of course he was trying to make a sale as they work on commision, however he was very good at his job.
The phone was shown to me in a demo mode, it has a very attractive front screen with a widget system where you get to choose what widgets (or short cuts) you would like on the side panel, this side panel does minimise and looks very nice. This was a huge selling point for me however i have found after 18 months of having the fone i have not used it that much. Other features of the phone are internet, mp3 player, tri band. these were all good selling points for myself, however once again i have not taken the phone abroad so therefore have not used tri band. The internet is very good with this fone as its large screen enables you to look at a large web page at one time.
Bad points to the fone: not only mine but others that i have seen and used have froze every so often, there is no reason for this as i have asked the manafatures and they have no reason to give me. It only happens once every few weeks and is only for around 10 - 15 seconds however if its at a vital time when using the phone it can be annoying.
Over all i would say this is a very good phone for a big internet user but not so much a business phone!!
