On first glance of the Samsung Tocco F480 I am very impressed with it and like the look and feel. I also like how even though it is a touchscreen phone they have kept it to a fairly small size so it is easy to hold and carry around.
The battery life on this phone is amazing and it seems to last for hours even when doing activities such as playing music. This is what Samsung has always being good at and any Samsung phone that I have had in the past has a good battery life but the Samsung Tocco F480 seems to be the best yet.
The touchscreen is very good considering it was half the price of an iphone and other high end touchscreens, so it is good quality for the money. It is very quick and sensitive and I don’t really see much of a difference in this aspect with comparison to more expensive touchscreen phones.
The camera takes some good quality photos and is 5 megapixels. The pictures usually come up sharp and clear and it also has the flash facility which is good as I have found it a problem in the past when cameras don’t have flash because you can’t take photos on nights out or at other times when it is dark.
When texting I like to use a QWERTY keyboard because it is easier and faster but unfortunately there isn’t one on this phone which is a disappointment to me personally. Also I am not too impressed with the web browser because I find it slow sometimes and you can’t get a full screen or widescreen view which is needed when reading an article.
In conclusion I am very impressed with this phone and especially for the price. However my only negatives with this phone is the web browser and how there isn’t a QWERTY keyboard.
