Having had my Motorola phone for a while and an Alcatel before that, I was ready to get a new phone with a different manufacturer. I looked around for a phone for only a short while before being undecided between the Samsung J600 and the Samsung W810i. However, I was out shopping with my friends and saw the Samsung J600 in Woolworths for only £59.99. On a spur of the moment decision, I decided to buy the Samsung J600. It was the pink version, exclusive to O2.

Getting home and opening the box was so exciting! The power button is on the left hand side along with the camera button. You do need to charge the phone beforehand but I left it on overnight and checked it in the morning. It was completely charged and ready to use. The phone slides so effortlessly and smoothly and the buttons are easy to use. Upon accessing the menu, you can do a wide variety of things including text messaging, change the phone settings, access your files and access the internet.
One of the best things is that i didn't need to use the manual to use the phone. All menus are easy to access and it takes little effort to find what you are looking for.
You are able to change the settings on the phone with ease but you cant change the touch buttons on the front, so unfortunately, if I press them by mistake, I find myself in my contacts list or on the web
At first, I could only fit 3 songs on the phone but after buying a 1GB micro SD card, I have plenty of room for all my music, images and videos.

There are about 7 games already on the phone, some are only trial games but you can buy the full version after playing the trial version.

The camera is 1.3 mega pixels which isn't the best but I have a digital camera which I use more so this camera phone is only if I don't have my digital camera.

The phone overall is fantastic value for money and I have only found 2 faults with it so far:
1) its not a quad band phone. I travel to Europe a lot and having a quad band phone would have been perfect but I'm not too concerned as I can use my Motorola phone in Europe
2) One of the touch buttons is the internet and you cannot change it. This means if I touch it by mistake, I automatically start going onto the internet and using top up money.

Overall however, I would definitely recommend this phone to potential buyers.
