Samsung J700 Pink

My review on the lovely pink Samsung j700 mobile phone.

I purchased this phone last week online as I thought it was a brilliant wee phone. I read review after review and no one had a bad word to say about it, so I purchased it for 49.99 from Amazon brand new.

The look…
The phone is very stylish and trendy. It is a mixture of dark and light metallic pink with a slide feature. On the front it has got the main screen, and underneath has the Samsung brand name. It has a very unique circle main menu button with two small round buttons on either side with looks very nice. Under the main circle there are the function buttons to make a call and to hang up a call with the C cancel button in the middle.
On the sides of the phone, there are function buttons which can be used to monitor the volume and scrolling. There are also slots for a memory stick and charger, and ear phones. The back of the phone contains the sim and battery covered with the cover.

It's a class looking phone; it's a pretty pink, and its shooooo girly 

The functions:

It has all the normal mobile phone functions, sms, calander, contacts and personalisation, it also has a 1.3 mega pixel camera which is situated on the back of the phone. The camera is quite good quality, I would prefer a camera on the front of the phone as well like a had previous - more fun when taking pictures with friends. It also records video and had a voice recorder which can come in handy for self reminders.

It has a media player where you can store music and play them in a play list - this comes in great when your out walking, aswell as a self tuning fm radio which has about 10 + stations and you can select your favourite from the list, so means no tuning and going through numerous stations.

Another brilliant function is the SOS, it is a communication setup where if you are in any danger at all, you can set your phone up to ring for help at the press of a button. I would walk a lot at night, and it would come in very handy if I ever got in any danger.

A mobile tracker is set on this phone, I have read about it, that if your phone is stole and can be easily tracked, however I cannot use this function as there is a pincode which I don't know, ill have to look into it and try it out.

When you are dialling a number eg 078… A pop up list will appear below with all numbers starting with 078 and you can select it instead of typing the entire number, I thought was really handy feature. Especially with land line numbers.

Ok there are the main functions, all work brilliant and I love them 

What I don't like about the phone: ok there is not a lot cause the phone is just brilliant, but I noticed when I am texting, at times the buttons are not pressing, I am forever missing letters and have to go back and retype it again. And like other Samsung phones I have used, predictive text lets you select the words from a list, but once you space off that word you cant go back to predict and change it, meaning, delete it and re-write it. The last problem I have it that you MUST get a memory card for the phone, The memory is dreadful I got to store 2 songs on the phone, and then there was no more room, which meant I couldn't use my camera as it couldn't save the picture anywhere. I had a memory card which I put in and thankfully all worked great again.
There are the only things I dislike - everything else I love.

The battery life is brilliant - it can last for days, and it can be unlocked to any network. I have kept the plastic covering on the phone to try and prevent it from scratches, but you can buy covers from them, I was checking ebay…so now ya know. I have not yet used the wap function as I still have not topped it up, so I am unsure how good it is, but if its like any other Samsung, it will be good quality. Speed dials can be created for all your regular contacts - it's a brilliant wee function.

Well I am not sure what else to write about it, other than it's a great phone, don't be put off my my dislikings of the phone, cause I am still very happy with it. But defiantly get a memory card.
