One thing I like about this phone is the fine grill over the speaker. This keeps dust out, I'd previously had problems in my line of work with metal dust sticking to the magnet in the speaker, resulting in severe static and frequent repairs.
The robust rubbery body gives it a solid look and feel.
No complaints on the battery life, FM radio uses a bit of juice though.
Quite satisfied with the camera, good quality photos.
I found the Bluetooth very useful for sending pictures without the need for an expensive USB cable.
A lot cheaper than similar robust phones like the JCB.
Good battery life.
On the down side
Sending an SMS is quite a drawn out process, requires you to go through too many submenus. When I've finished texting and press the "Back" button to clear the screen it resends the SMS!
The main menu button launches the Internet Browser in standby mode. Being accustomed to a Nokia, this caused me to press the button habitually when I first got the phone.
When the phone rings I have to be careful not to touch the volume button on the side, or the message " press unlock then * " will appear. I then have to wait a few seconds for this to clear before I can answer the call... sometimes this causes me to miss calls.
Operating the torch is laborious, first I have to unlock the keypad to switch it on and then again to switch it off. ( With autolock enabled )
Sometimes I get the message " phonebook initializing " when I try to save a number.
Overall
I would only recommend this phone for those who work or play in harsh conditions, like me, I am so macho... :oP Good hardware, bad software. The functionality simply does not rival that of a Nokia.
