Hello Everyone,
I have had my Samsung Soul for around a year now. Before my Soul I had an Ericsson K800i and I purchased this due to the hype surrounding it. I was not happy with it as had an urge for something "more", seemed a bit basic.
Since the Soul came out I have ALWAYS wanted it. Its amazing sleek design and captivating interface always got me excited when I saw it in the shops. I decided to buy it from 02 on an 18 month contract in which I pay £30 a month for 500 texts and 400 minutes phone calls - not bad at all.
Onto the phone, this phone really has not let me down, just looking at it while the slide is down is fascinating within itself. The hologram of "Samsung" and the surrounding infrastructure really makes you appreciate its design. Slid up it's even better, all the way from the metal number pad to the neon heat touch pad (for this you can choose a range of neon colours) creates a fantastic luminous shape, even better with the interface.
As for the phone itself it can do the works. Camera may be slightly outdated at 5megapixal but it still does have really good quality with a range of editing options. Messaging is very easy to do the on number pad. The neon heat sensitive touch pad is fantastic, recognising every touch and having absolutely no faults that I have found yet, it's also easy to navigate from the front screen changing from the shortcut icons to the arrow icons (very smart)
It does all the expectant things such as the ability to play MP3s, graphically enhanced java games, good Internet etc, practically everything you want in a phone is in here.
Here are the specific abilities of the phone:

The only down points are from what I can see is you can easily send blank messages to people as when you go on a text message if you click the middle button by accident it sends regardless of what you do.
Also, the phone takes quite a while to load once you click on an icon, this can lead to some backlog when you click the touch screen which means that you could end up on a random screen or end up sending the same text.
The final down point from what I can see is when you are predictive texting instead of having the obvious words like "the" when you press 843 in predictive mode it says random words that come up first such as tgd. The predictive texting is a bit messed up in this way, although this can be rectified.
All in all I recommend this phone, which will be a lot cheaper than when I bought it. The current technology has not advanced enough to consider a more contemporary phone as for your money you will get something like "10 megapixel camera" as this is the only technology which seems to be developing.
Thanks for reading!
