Advantages Memory, Good camera

Disadvantages Annoying stylus, Internet, Hard to write texts

The first time I got the phone it looked fantastic - it was a good size and shape, a touch screen, a stylus (although this was weirdly situated on a string dangling off the phone.) It has a huge amount of memory on it, so far i've used 216.62 MB and I still have 15139.38 MB free! So there is definitly no problem with space on this phone. When I first purchased this phone it was quite expensive and I do not feel it lives up to its price.

Getting your way around
On the front screen which you get to first contains two touch sensitive buttons at the bottom saying phone and main menu. The phone button takes you straight through to the keypad where you can type in number to ring. Or you can also access your phonebook from here to choose someone to phone. Here you can also see your recent calls and missed calls. The main menu button suprisingly takes you though to the main menu! There are two pages of 12 things to click on with a scroll button at the bottom to get to the next page. These include things like messaging, camera, clock, internet, FM radio and media album. Included in these 12 buttons there is one which says Programs. I look at this as my second main menu, when you click on programs it takes you through to another menu containing many things to do including calendar, games, calculator, google maps and messenger. As it is a windows phone it also includes the microsoft programs such as word, excel and powerpoint.

Camera
The camera is 5 megapixel and can be accessed from the main menu, the '2nd menu' or from the front screen by pressing the button on the right hand side of the phone. The picture is of good quality and the flash can be turned on or off or put onto automatic where it does it for you. There are many settings that can be changed to change the colours and effects. From the camera you can also go onto the video camera by clicking on the picture of a camera. From here you can also access all your pictures by clicking on the little play button in a box.

Messaging
Not only can you text on this phone but you can also access and write emails. The texts come up as conversations so you can see what's been said in the past from each of your contacts that you text. Actually writing a text is a little bit more difficult. I find the screen is not as responsive as it should be and therefore should not be for people who are used to texting fast. Also as it is meant for a stylus, you cannot type easily with your fingers unless you have nails. The are a few different options for writing, the keypad, keyboard, letter recognizer, samsung keyboard, samsung phonepad and transcriber. I tend to use the samsung phonepad as I feel its the most like a normal phone and easiest to type with my fingers as I prefer that to with the stylus.

Internet Use
You can connect to the internet via your wifi or via your company provider. I'm with O2 pay as you go and so sometimes I connect through them or I connect through my home wifi. Both are quite easy to set up and use. However I do not find the internet explorer very easy to use, you cannot scroll down normally like on any other internet mobile. Also with the internet there is a windows live messenger which I can only get to work if I'm connecting through my wifi.

Conclusion
I think this phone is more meant for business people as it has so much to do and so much space/memory. It works well except for a few silly problems.
