Advantages: Beautiful, small, rock solid, fast, quality construction, full of features, right there with the big boys on performance. Disadvantages: none really. once hooked with a Shuttle then there is no going back.
...These are my first impressions of the new SN41G2 V2.0.
I had the Shuttle SN41G2 V1.0 Black Special Edition since last june. I loved is so much but it had some annoyances. Last week I managed to short circuit the motherboard which rendered the AGP and PCI slots useless, but strangely enough everything still works including the built-in graphics and I have been using it till this morning.
I ordered the new SN41G2 V2.0 and got it this morning. I have to say that the first impression was that the silver colour looks much better that the old SN41G2. It looks more whiter if that makes sense. Under the hood there are many nice changes:
- Officially supports DDR400 [400MHz FSB].
- Comes with the SilentX 250W PC40 PSU instead of the old Enhance 200W PSU.
- The cables are sooooo neatly routed through the case. in the the old SN41G2...

Advantages: Better power supply above the original Disadvantages: Shame they did not improve the stock fan
...Similar to the SN45Gv1 but the v2 comes with the SilentX 250w power supply as standard and a new motherboard design. This is ideal for high power graphic cards wuch as an ATI All In Wonder Card AIW. The vDimm problems are reportedly solved on this model however my firmare has this option removed.
I have purchased 1 of these. Easy to assemble with some practice under 2 hours instructions comprehensive no first time experience necessary. Sound quality is amazing from the nForce 2 Soundstorm chipset. Stock fan is okay but rather noisy but can be replaced with quieter alternative which have better airflow. Supplied thermal paste is okay but better thermal paste can be used to cool the unit. I have 1 hard drives and a DVD-rom drivewith a Radeon 9600 PRO in mine and the power supply copes fine with temperatures around 47c. Ideal units...

Advantages: Nice styling, good picture quality and not expensive. Disadvantages: Only has analogue connection, flashing standby light and no standard wall mount.
...INTRO
Bought this monitor in Dec 2004 as part of a computer system revamp so I initially chose it because it looked good (for me). The monitor is satin black, not dark grey like some others ones. The other reason was the price, inexpensive if compared to similar specification monitors from other well known brands like Iiyama, Sony, Philips and Sharp. I trust the Samsung brand to provide good quality equipment as I have used their products before with no problems. Other brands I had considered were Sony, LG, Relysis, Acer and AG Neovo but were either out of stock or lacked feedback from users. The monitor cost me £278 (including VAT) from an internet supplier.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX
You get the monitor, video cable to connect to computer, power cable to connect to the mains and software CD. The CD contains a Windows XP certified...
