When your spending well over £120 getting a decent camera it doesnt seem rediculious spending £120 to be able to enjoy the photographs!
This was a christmas present for the relatives but when I saw the screen in action I have just bought one for myself.
As a display item the fascia is a calssy gloss finnish whith textured finish behind.
The main feature the screen, is fantastic. Initially it comes with the brightness set to 70%. When you turn the brightness up to 90% the screen transforms and lights up the room with the vibrant colour.
The screen has 800x480 resolution. Like all photoframes this means vertical photographs are scaled to fit (leaving black border around photo). If most of your photgraphs are this way you can rotate the stand to place the screen vertically. -Personnally I just did a little bit of cropping for the few photos it applied to.
The frame has inbuilt 64mb and sd card reader. The easiest way we have found was buying a 1gb sd card for around £6 (more than 1000photos) and transfering over wifi(simple drag and drop from computer) You can connect the frame to the computer but for us that means moving and unpuging.
Our photo frame is in the hall welcoming people into the house. The comments from visitors is awe -it really is a feature of the room.
Other things to note
-the frame has built in clock for autoturn on/off
-very smple to use (if you can take a digital photograph, with the simple instructions you are competent at setting this thing up.)
-the cable is 3.4m so does need abit of coiling
-screen is excellent
-is an essential in enjoying your photographs
