I’m by no means a photographer but in the right situation I do like to take the occasional photo – like to have things to remember, like some nights out and to watch all the random things in my life that have happened. I was bought this camera as a gift for my birthday and it has been a reliable camera and had lots of use, the size is small and thin and it fits in my handbag and is light enough to carry around when we go on holiday. I like the size of it as it is convenient for just popping in your bag and snapping the odd photo when you need to, before i got this I used to go places and think i wish I had a camera with me as I would see things that I would have photographed. Having recently been in the market for a new digital camera and the only specifications in mind was that it would be 10 megapixels or more, rechargable and small enough to be conveniantly carried about. The end result was my purchase of the Samsung ST60 digital camera. The camera come supplied in quite a small box containing manual, software CD, USB cable, A/V cable, battery and charger. The Samsung ST60 is a competent enough compact digital camera which because of its slim design and 121g weight is ideal for carrying in yor bag to capture the joy of a night out with friends or for family days when you do not want to burdened down with a larger camera. It is also pretty cheap as you can get it for under £70 however do be aware that you will also have to add in the cost of an sd card as the internal memory is only 20mb. I bought this camera because I needed one small enough to fit into the palm of my hand. I am very impressed with the 720p HD quality video with records at an impressive 30 frames per second. I also love using the sketch mode to edit my clips and pictures. I can then simply plug it into my laptop and watch/share them from my laptop. This camera takes very professional videos and I'm really impressed, I mean it's not the most amazing camera compared to some more expensive cameras but it's not too far behind my friend's £500 camera.
