But I bought a Samsung drive (Super-WriteMaster SH-S202J) from www.ishift.co.uk and I must say that not only is it just as fast (20x) and I have seen no real difference in performance between the IDE or SATA drives as the Liteon and Pioneer drives but it is much much quieter! To be honest the whole build quality of the Samsung seems a lot better as well plus it came with the software I needed, unlike many of the Pioneer OEM drives I have bought. ...

I have this drive installed with a SuperMicro P8SCT motherboard and found it to be incompatible used with Windows XP. The operating system installed but afterward would only read directories and small files but could not read the entire disc. I suspect a problem with the speed of the drive not being detected correctly. ...

Super-Write Master SH-S202J is available in comparable prices with powerful speed performance allows writing DVD, VCD with the high speed. We can make Data CD, Data DVD, MP3 CD, MP3 DVD, Audio CD, Audio DVD with the help of Nero Premium software and other writing software.
As for me, it is a best product with the high speed recording capacity and the drivers also available with the product which is very useful.
Compare to other product in the market i feel Super-Write Master SH-S202J is the best when comparing the prices, functionality, speed, brand etc.., ...
