Although I much prefer to use my laptop I do have a home PC as well. Before Christmas I bought the Samsung Syncmaster 2333T LCD Monitor for my home PC and have so far been happy with the experience. There isn't much to say about a monitor for your PC to be honest when you compare this Samsung model to my past monitors it seems that there is a lot more to a monitor than you appreciate. If you have a basic monitor you will be used to it as it fits the purpose, but once you have tried the Samsung Syncmaster 2333T you will realise that there is more to a PC monitor than the display.
As with all Samsung products I have owned the first thing I noticed was the finish. The 2333T has the standard Samsung beauty to it and the sleek black look fits in well with most PC setups. The next thing I noticed was just how slim this LCD monitor was. The 23'' screen I have now has replaced a 15'' old style box monitor and the weight difference and bulkiness is noticeable instantly. I have more space on my desktop now as I can sit the monitor further back on my desk and the base doesn't take up much space either so this is a major plus point. The picture quality is also much clearer and with a max resolution of 1920x1080 it is much higher quality than my old monitor.
The monitor can be adjusted by tilting it to a suitable angle and it is even wall mountable to further save space. The monitor has VGA and DVI-D outputs and due to the power and screen adjustment buttons been to the rear of the monitor this leaves clean lines all round on the front of the monitor. Obviously this means that changing the screen settings can be harder to adjust due to their location, but overall the look of the monitor is such that this is forgiven.
The price is the final thing worth mentioning and at under £150 this can also be added to the number of things that make this monitor a must buy when you are looking for a replacement to your old home PC screen. The 2333T gives me everything I need with no fuss needed. An affordable monitor that looks a million dollars.
