Previously had an LG 19" Widescreen TFT and decided to upgrade to a SamsungSyncMaster245B. Its native resolution of 1920x1200 is fantastic and the colours are so vivid. Playing gamers on it has never been so much fun, you can see so much and the screen is nice to look at. Its not as expensive as the Dell widescreens and in my opinion the screen is just as good, came packed with all necessary cables and 3 year standard manufacturer warranty. The TFT has a standard refresh rate of 60hz at max resolution but thats an average for a TFT and doesnt effect it really. If your looking for a gaming/media experience in the home and want a superb TFT to look at for visual quality this wont dissapoint you. Its great value for money and made by a reputable brand. 1200 resolution. I also demanded extreme prettiness.
Unfortunately times had changed. Manufacturers had decided that high resolution was only really required in larger screen sizes. My quest for a 19? super duper monitor was quashed.
These demands were too much for the manufacturers of flash screens. I found monitors that were too big, that were too small, that had scummy resolution and most shockingly of all I found monitors I couldn?t bear to look at, such was their ugliness.
Then I found the SamsungSyncMaster 2433.
It was a whopping 24? but had that all important 1920 X 1200 resolution. Plus, it passed the pretty test. Black glossy and curvaceous, the Samsung ticked a lot of boxes. I was sold. So sold in fact, that I ordered 2. Oh yes.
