This monitor is excellent value for money. On the internet you can get it from as low as $179.00
To me I really do think that for a 17 inch monitor, it is not a bad ... ...amazed at the weight (or should I say lack off!!!) of this monitor. It is a 17 inch screen but the net weight is only - 9.7 lbs
Another brilliant thing is the ease of connection. It really is a plug and go monitor !!!!! For anybody out there, like myself, who cannot stand those manuals that make no sense at all, then this really is for you.

For anybody out there, like myself, who cannot stand those manuals that make no sense at all, then this really is for you. This monitor comes in Black, which was perfect for me, but obviously colour is purely a personal choice thing. I do think that the colour and design make it quite futuristic looking. The SyncMaster 720n comes with VGA Input. This is a standard video format and really does provide excellent image quality. Its a pretty time-tested and reliable format. Response Time is 8ms which I must say is super. What this means is how long it takes (in milliseconds) an LCD screen to go from gray-to-gray. This is a very important point in viewing moving images (for example movies or games). Basically the lower the response time the better the viewing experience. Another great point going for this monitor is the MagicTune (yes I did have to ask what this was !!!!) Basically this controls all the monitor settings. Because MagicTune uses an advanced display technology, called the DDC/CI (Display Data Channel Command Interface) protocol, you just simply connect the signal cable, and use your mouse to set the best display settings. It really is alot faster and easier than ever. Also this monitor comes with MagicBright which has 4 modes for optimum display. You can use this monitor the conventional way - on a stand OR wall mount it !!! Excellent space saver and it is ultra slim, only about a third of regular monitors, SUPER !!! Dimensions - (with stand) 14.6 x 15.2 x 7.7
*************WARRANTY************ This monitor comes with a standard 3 year manufacturers warranty. I must say this is a plus for me, as I know many others are less than this.
***********OVERALL********* If you’ve been using an ordinary monitor then I can honestly say the difference will take your breath away. The SyncMaster 720n really does take digital imagery to that new level. It produces lifelike shades, colors and detail and the SyncMaster’s fast 8ms response rate means totally ghost-free, smooth-flowing video for DVDs and games (a plus in anyones book).
