Quality monitor at less than £200
Advantages Excellent value, very good picture.
Disadvantages Needs a little basic know how to install but not a real problem.
If you are on the look out for a new monitor then this is well worth a try. This 17" flatscreen monitor costs just under £200 and has a real crisp clear picture. For the techies out there it has a 16" viewable screen with a horizontal dot pitch of 0.20mm andd 0.24 diagonal, which Im led to believe is very good. The horizontal synchronization is 20kHz to 70 kHz and 50 Hz to 160 Hz vertical which again at this price is excellent. Maximum resolution is 1280 dots H and 1024 lines V.
The monitor comes with all cables you would expect and also with a driver disk so the power saving functions can be used. Some very basic assemly is required but it is very easy.
