This samsung PC monitor really is a fantastic and beautiful piece of kit. The first thing I noticed when taking it out of the box when it arrived on my doorstep was simply how stunning it was. The shape of the monitor and its frame just seems to flow and ooze with sexyness. It has a magnificant colour tinge to it aswell. A lovely deep red shines through the gloss black finish of the monitor making it really quite spectacular and unique to look at. You are going to have this monitor sat on your computer desk or workspace for months if not years on end, so you might as well have it looking elegant and nice, right? well this monnitor sure does that. It encompasses everything that is great with the Samsung models and their promise of beauty in their products..

Any way, enough of praising its looks. How does it perform? well. Once you plug the monitor into the back of your desktop and install the necessary software... Well... Thats it to be honest. It really is just plug in and play. I mean sure you can fiddle with the colour settings and resolution settings, but there really is no need. If, like me, your eyesight is adequate enough for reading relatively small fonts, then you will have no problems whatsoever having the resolution set to the screens maximum. Which by the way is pretty impressive. If on the other hand you would be more comfortable with a slightly larger font size, then just decrease the resolution slightly with a drag of the mouse, and bingo, bob's your uncle.

I do have one minor problem with this screen, and when i say minor, I MEAN MINOR.
The base of the actual screen itself is ridiculously oversized. There really is no obvious need for it to be so big. But then, on the other hand, i suppose it gives it that little bit of added safety if you accidently knock your desk. It really would be the end of the world if this beauty was to be harmed or scratched!

It does take up quite a bit of space on a workspace because of the base, bt its thin enough to get away with this. Plus it makes very little, or should i say zero background noise, so your in for a quiet ride.
The one thing that i really like? that seems to add that little extra dose of elegance? the small touch sensitive on and off button on the lower right hand corner of the screen. It has a healthy red glow when on, and when powered off, the glow vanishes smoothley. Perfect for those of us who like to look hi-tech.

Oh one more thing, it has a tendancy to get dusty pretty quickly compared to other monitors. Just make sure you have the dusters at the ready and you will be fine!
