The good thing's about this phone is that it consists of Polyphonic, TFT screen, double screen, reasonable call quality and reception, it is very easy to use, and its has some great functions although not everything is there like GPRS
The Samsung T100 weighing 87kg is a very smart and reliable flip-phone to have. I found it very easy to use. With its colour screen and great features it is a phone you want to just keep picking up and looking at. I will say honestly though that the battery life isn't all that great, like most of the new phones nowadays, the effect the colour screen and many other features drain the battery really quickly but if your anything like me, I always charge my phone up through-out the night so the battery is not to much of a bad point for me. The battery talk time is roughly about 1.3 hours
As for the ringtones, This phone is compatable for Polyphonic ringtone's, but again like most new phone's this sort of ring tone is somtimes quite hard to hear, by the time you do realise your phone's ringing, you've already missed the call.
It has a double screen which I find very attractive and helpful, you can see at a glance if you have any new messages or missed calls without even lifting up the front.
As with most Samsung's, holding down the Hash Key ( # ) will change your phone's incoming call alert to vibrate so if your in a meeting or somewhere that you don't want yto be disturbed, this is a great feature to have at a touch of a botton.
Text messaging is one of my favorite features of a mobile phone. I sent so many its unbelievable and with the T100 I found texting a pleasure. One thing that I wasn't too happy with regarding texting was the fact that if you get an in-coming call whilst your half way through that all important message then you lose you message altogether and have to re-write the whole message out again.Another was the fact that you can't tell how many characters you have left of your message, i text quite alot so I can kind of take a rough guess of how much message I have left, but for those who dont often text it might be a bit of a pain.
I would only recommend this phone Honestly to someone who just wants to use it as literally a phone, not so much as a phone to text on. I have enjoyed using it for the short time that I did but I dont think I could honestly use it as an every day phone. The battery would never last for me and the text message thing i mentioned abouve really got to me.I'm going to stick to my Samsung D600,
I hope this has given you a little bit of help as regards to the phones reliability and my opinion.I don't want to put anyone off the phone at all, the above was just my feeling and how I got on with using it.
