This television gives access to some of the features which you can only get with much higher priced televisions. I upgraded my old fashioned box tv to this smooth sleek television and I am very happy with this decision. It's very thin, probably helped along by the LED Illumination and can support BBCI player and Smart TV. It comes with free view which includes an HD tuner and the picture is definitely better on HD programmers this television will be even better in the future when most channels are HD, this is definitely important for looking at when buying a television you don't want to pay around £500 for it only to last a year and then it's behind in technology. Being HD ready makes this television is a good investment.

The picture on this television is fantastic! Compared to my 12 inch old school set which I had before and even the downstairs television which is LCD the picture quality is stunning! I knew this would be the case as a walk round comet had be noticing the quality of the Samsung models as to be above others such as the Sony which were often higher priced. Great value for money!

The sound is decent to but doesn't quite match up to the sound which we get on the Panasonic downstairs, probably because this has larger speakers but after being put through a surround system package I already had I can't complain about that! (not that it was bad enough to complain just not quiteeeee as good as the panasonic).

To access the features through the interface is very easy and it looks much easier and welcoming than other interfaces I have seen on other televisions. The Smart Hub home page makes it simple to skip between inputs and to operate streaming media where as on other televisions I have found it a hassle guessing which button to press and which input is on which channel, this Smart Hub makes it very easy with all its bright icons. Infact all the menus on this television are easy to use and pleasing to the eye. The font used on the menu is quite large which is useful as it means it's easily read from a distance. I loathe televisions where you have to be three or four feet in front of the screen to read the menu!
The television is somewhat like a mobile phone in its Smart Hub layout amd comes with a number of apps such as BBC iPlayer and Youtube, this make accesing these sites easy on the television which is great because you are not restricted to the small screen of the laptop to watch these services which makes viewing a lot more comfortable. You can also get more apps from the app store such as Facebook and twitter which means your television can now host your social networking. I personally don't wish my tv to do this as my phone and laptop already do this but I can see why other people may find this usefull, it's nice to know the options there.

This television doesn't come with a browser and cannot support skype like some other televisions but it does allow for some of the most common internet usage to be done on the television. I'm sure there are other television sets offering similar feature but from looking around this model is great for those who want the extra features but do not want to pay top end for all the features.

Lots of my friends who have visited recently have commented on the appearance of the television saying how modern it looks and that it blends in nicely with the room. Considering it's a large television for a bedroom it fits in no problem on the television stand I bought for it, it fits quite nicely onto it. I bought my television from Argos and the stand at the same time and they were offering money of the television stand when you do this so I managed to save myself some money aswell. What is not so attractive is the remote contol! It's massive! Far to big and thick for what it needs to be, this has the benefit of being easy to find but it's very unsightly compared to the TV set!
