I bought the Samsung WS32Z429TQX which is basically the same as the WS 32 Z 428 D 8 XX but without the intergral Freeview. I have owned the TV for 4 weeks and I don't think I have switched it off since i got it! When i started looking for a new TV i had decided to go LCD, i had owned a small 17" LG LCD previosly and the picture quality and size had been a real benefit in a small home. We wanted something for the lounge about 32", modern looking with HD and 2 scarts as a minimum. I jumped on trusty old Ebay and the prices varied, depending on make and model, from over £1000 to around £500. I visited 24/7 Electrical and saw a Samsung HD TV for £360 with 2 scart sockets plus an additional AV socket (refer to spec for the rest), its now cheaper at Amazon! The basis behind what Samsung call the 'Slimfit' is basically the TV is half the size of a normal one as the tube is smaller. The TV is quite heavy but from the front it looks just like an LCD, the picture and sound quality are exceptional. My playstation has never seen so much use! The day it was delivered i was up at 8am watching Nanny McPhee, it only took 15 mins to unpack and plug in. Now i'm after an HDMI pack (£50 Argos Wire & pack total) for the PS2 & soon a PS3!
