I decided to get this mp3 player because i wanted something a bit different to all the Ipods out there.

This mp3 player is very well built, i was worried that the speaker would be a bit flimsy but the fold/slide action is very solid. I saw a video on youtube of them running it over with a truck and it still works!

This particular model is the 4GB model which can hold around 1000 mp3 tracks of a reasonable quality (around 128 kb/ps)

The speakers are excellent for their size and dont distort if you put the volume at max, which is surprising considering thier size. If you are in a classroom full of people talking you can easily hear the music being played through this without a problem.

The slide out feature of the speaker also makes it excellent as an alarm clock in the mornings, so you can wake up to your favourite music. A nice feature is that the music will start of softly and gradually get louder so it wont startle you.

The interface is excellent and easy to use, i like the blue theme of the menus and all the little morphing animations between functions. The buttons are excellent, well they arent exactly buttons its more like a kind of touch screen than an actual button, so there are no raised bits sticking out its all smooth and sleek. But this can leave som nasty fingerprints which you have to constantly rub off.

The mp3 player advertised says you can view pictures (jpeg's) but the OLED screen isnt best suited to this, it isnt that bright and it doesnt show that much detail. But it does get the job done if you want to show people simple images.

The battery life is excellent providing around 30 hours (with headphones in) and around 8-10 if you have the speaker out constantly.

The software that comes with it is excellent and easy to use. Unlike iTunes, i found it alot easier to use and it has a simple 'drag & drop' interface, if you have a usb 2.0 computer the file transfers are extremly quick and painless.

The mp3 player also has a built in tuner so you can listen to the radio, you have to have the headphone plugged in though as this act as an aerial. And again you can play the radio through the slide out speaker if you want.

Unfortunatly there is no mains charger, so you have to charge via the usb cable. But i found this not to be a problem as i could just plug it in and charge it while im browsing the web or playing a game.

The headphones that are provided are a kind of 'in ear' design that are supposed to go all the way inside you ears to minimise outside interference. But i found them the be quite uncomfortable and they didnt seem to fit that well. Plus the sound quality wasnt as good as my old ipod pair either.

Also if you have large fingers (like me) it can be hard to navigate through the menus as the buttons are spaced quite close to one another, but you soon get used to this with a little practice.

For £125 you cant really go wrong and the unique design will turn alot of heads which can only be a good thing!

Heya, sorry for the low rating but I really think this needs a bit more information. How much did it cost, what storage capacity is it? Also, some more personal experiences would make this much more helpful for a potential buyer. If you edit this let me know in my guestbook and I'll come back and rerate.
