Advantages: Can be hung on the wall, Stylish Disadvantages: Sound does not go too loud, dust collector!
...a particulary great sound quality, in that it does not go very loud and I thought that the sound of "60" on the scale sounded just a little quiter than "90" on the scale. However, accompained with the subwoofer by Samsung it equals the balance of sound out! The picture is also very good and clear, although this is dependant on your reception and area to get a good quality picture.
The TV came with Freeview television integrated, which was an added bonus. So, Samsung saved me another job of buying a freeview box! It came with programs such as ITV2,3 and4. BBC3,4 and Quiz Call, Bid TV etc. Which are quite good if you want repeats or can not wait until the next episode of a particular program!
The remote control was standard and it worked sufficiently to meet anyone's standards of a remote control! However, I found that where you put the batteries...

Advantages: Looks nice Disadvantages: Samsung have no respect for their customers
...I purchased myself a Samsung DVD 709 player shortly after they were first released based upon the reccomendations of several magazines. Also, the fact that it looks pretty good.
Initially, I was extremely pleased with my purchase, having never experienced the DVD phenomonom. However, it all started to go wrong very quickly. I purchased "Something About Mary" which wouldn't work. thinking it was the DVD I returned it, only to be shown it working on another player. I contacted Samsungs so called "technical support". They had heard of the problem but hadn't got a clue what to do about it. They instructed me to leave my contact details and as soon as a fix was available they would contact me. Several weeks passed and still no contact. However, from digging around on the internet it became clear that a fix was available from Samsung yet I...

Advantages: Excellent quality, great features! Disadvantages: No speaker stands!
...needed at the time. I bought the Samsung HT-Q20 nearly 2 years ago now, for around £160 at the time, which felt like money well spent, and whilst the system has been very good in the main, it's certainly by no means faultless.
The system looks great, as you would expect from a Samsung product, and comes in a sleek, matte black design with a metallic silver lining throughout the range of items. The home cinema system consists of a DVD player, 5 speakers, a sub-woofer and the remote control. Set-up is fairly simple, the only hassle involved is basically the positioning and set-up of the speakers, but once this is done, it is ready to go. Where surround sound can be complicated, is getting the system to work on all entertainment systems in the home, from the digital box, to the dvd player, to the games console. To get all these to work...
