Advantages Looks good, sounds good
Disadvantages none
I have only bought this MP3 player about 2 weeks ago. I have bought this in preparation for my holiday that I go on in 6 weeks and 1 day - who's counting. I would be lost without Music when flying and although I have an MP3 player which I have had for years and don't use all that much the Pins where you plug it in seem to be wearing out a bit. I had recently bought another MP3 player but that is just for the Gym and full of Pumped up Gym type tracks. I had been looking online for a player and didn't want to spend all that much money on 1 as they have got pretty cheap thesedays, but when I saw this one I thought it looked great, and also the brand of this is recognaisable as well.
To look at this I think it looks like a Mobile. In the picture it may look a bit large and chunky but it is pretty small. Yes, not the smallest player I have seen but it is pretty compact. The screen on this is large enough and this plays MP4 videos as well - which I have only got round to putting 1 on so far. This has an FM Radio as well and the reception of the Radio seems to be ok.The instructions that came with this wasn't all that informative. I think sometimes with electronic devices the manufacturers "assume" that you know what you are doing with them, and although this follows the same idea as any other MP3 player - plug it into a Laptop/Desktop, download Music etc then they all can be a little different can't they. After about 5 minutes my hubby had set all this up and it was happily transferring Music over.
The only actual Button on here is the 1 to turn it off and on. The rest of this is done by the touch sensitive bits. I've used to Touch sensitive devices so I didn't find it all that hard to get used to this. Like the iPhone (and no doubt any other smartphone/touch screen mobile) you can change the background and that on this, but i've not really go into customising this as yet - as long as it plays Music then it is fine for me.This is a 4GB player and I paid £30 for this which included postage as well. You can get this in larger memory sizes but I thought that 4GB would be just fine for me as it will really just be Music that goes on it.
I can't comment on Battery life as i've only been using this so far for a few hours, but the Battery hasn't moved all that much and according to this you should get about 50 hours playback which sounds good. It didn't take long to charge this up when I first got this either. The sound from this is alright. The Headphones that came with the player are pretty good and the Bass sounded good enough and the sound was nice and clear. I have plugged more expensive Headphones into this and it does sound a bit better but it isn't all that tinny sounding with the original Headphones anyway.
This seems to be a good enough MP3 player and i'm sure this will keep me entertained on my upcoming holiday and many holidays to come.
