Advantages: sleek but simple - a great alternative to ipods, with the added bonus of bluetooth Disadvantages: faulty touchscreen keys, slow scrolling
When I first bought this product it was very new to the market, and I had numerous problems installing the Samsung software on my computer. Eventually it installed, but I found the Samsung music organiser not as convenient or easy to use as Windows Media Player, so I still use that to syncronise my music to the player. Since buying it, I am regularly shown new downloads to update the player, which I have found easy to install. On the whole I have actually noticed that these updates have made a visible improvement to the features of the player.
The screen is clear and menus are easy to use to find what file you're looking for, whether you're browsing by artist, genre or playlist, etc. However, if you have a long list of things, for example a list of album titles, you can't scroll through the list quickly to find one a long way down ...
Advantages: Functionality and da beats and sound. Disadvantages: Scroll is slow, sometimes press forward/rewind button by mistake.
I have the 8gb version.
This little MP3 player is neat and very functional. I traded up from an Iriver S10 which was subperbly small and much functionality, but limited at 2gb (also expensive).
It has video playback, voice recording, fm radio, text reader in addition to the usual things. In addition to the usual Genre, Album, artist, It has a great little "Browser" folder, which lists things the way you order them in Windows, rather than by ID tag, which is a godsend for me when you see 4 of the same song in artist!
It looks cool and his this neat little feature called Datacasts, which is essentially for podcasts, although I'm having difficulty getting it to automatically download podcasts, I think I'll crack it eventually.
The software if comes bundled with is pretty confusing, but using it with Windows Media playing makes syncing ...
Advantages: It looks good, nice sound Disadvantages: small memory and few add-ons
The YP-T10 is a really sleekly designed mp3 player. Even though most people prefer ipods, I find that other mp3 players (such as Creative) are cheaper and look better. One such would be the SamsungYP-T10. It has a responsive touch screen and it looks really good, black all around. In my experience, it is quite durable (I've dropped it a couple of times and it hasnt cracked), but you should get a screen protector because the screen is prone to scratches.
It has a pretty good playback and it fits your palm nicely, as well as being bluetooth enabled so you can use bluetooth headsets. It is also pretty slim and fits nicely in tight jeans. However, there arent that many add-ons for this particular model, and the memory is pretty limited (only 4 gig). it can perhaps fit about a thousand songs, if you dont have any pictures ...
A slice of music entertainment at only 7.9mm slim and 43 grams, the T10 comes fully loaded with the latest multimedia functions. The T10 is a music player, FM radio, photo album, video player, voice recorder, text reader and game player (firmware upgrade) in one. Store all your files directly onto your T10, with 2GB, 4GB and 8GB versions, and with 30 hours of earphone playback before your next battery recharge there's also plenty of time.
