One day I was checking out Argos catalogue and I found this MP3 to be quite affordable (£39.99 ) and more than just an MP3!
I decided to buy it as it looked quite good to me and the features it had were quite attractive.
Size: (H)8.88cm, (W)2.44cm, (D)1.26cm Weight: 29g Screen: LCD Colour: Black
Playback: 14 hours which is much longer than most of the MP3 at this or higher price.
Memory: 512MB which allows you to store 128 MP3/256 WMA tracks; however... I would prefer to have a higher storage capacity :) as always. . Battery: built in rechargeable via USB Port. I personally like it as I do not have to worry about buying batteries all the time. All I have to do is plug my MP3 into the USB port and it automatically fully recharges within 2h. On the other hand.. if my MP3 runs out of power and I have no USB port to plug it into.. I cannot use the MP3 at all.
What I really like about Samsung YP-U2RXB is that it has FM tuner with RDS. I can record my own and other people's voices :) However, the recording will be of a poor quality if you try to record say a lecture in the university. It will be quite hard to hear anything at all.
Another plus which I quite like about this MP3 is that it is WMA and DRM 9 compatible. The MP3 comes with straight forward manual, USB cable, headphones and software supplied. However, it is not compatible with Windows Vista yet.
Overall.. I am quite pleased with the sound quality, ease of use, design and all the functions this MP3 has. I think its a great value for money and therefore I would recommend it to the potential buyers.
You can use it as a pen drive, as a memory stick if you decide to buy iPod or something later on!
