This MP3 Player was perfect for me. I can't stand clicky buttons, so the touch sensitive controls proved a perfect solution. For me, the IPod seemed to do not a lot for its price. The YP-U3 had FM radio and voice recording, both of which are very useful especially for recording lectures and finding out the latest news. The USB Port comes directly out of the player, so no wires etc are needed and it can even be used as a memory stick. And the USB is strong, it doesnt break or get bent eaily as would be expected. Its also good because you can either drag and drop music straight onto the player or use the software provided to help organise the music before you transfer it. The software is also easy to use.
I found that the MP3 player was quite hard to operate at first, but after a few hours, it becomes so easy! This MP3 is simple but practical. I got it in black as it is smart and scratches don't show. The screen is very pleasing to the eye with its lovely turquoise OLED screen. I suggest you don't leave it hanging round unprotected at the bottom of your bag like I did, because i managed to mark the screen! But i have a friend whose had hers for about a year and it still looks like new. The earphones are very comfortable and they never fall out of my ears, which the IPod ones always do! And the sound quality is excellent!
The Player charges via USB so you can just plug it straight into your PC while your working or playing games and it charges. Also, you can buy chargers which plug into the mains supply andhave a USB slot which means you can charge the MP3 player while travelling or away from a PC. The battery lasts about 15 hours, but if you record, it lasts for a bit less.
Its a small compact device, as light as a pen. It isnt so expensive, usually available for under £35 online. And its worth it if you don't want some fancy MP3 that shows photos and plays videos, which is, for me, kind of unnecessary!
