I had this as a birthday present and as I don't like carrying lots of gadgets around with me, was a bit skeptical at first. Ok, so I cheated a little bit! I bought my Samsung Z5A off ebay for £50, but its probably the best £50 I have spent in a long time! The samsung Z5 is basically the rival to the ipod nano. They're both small, slim, stylish and have colour screens. Bought the YP-Z5 earlier this year at a cost of £80 to replace my second broken Creative Micro (just don't buy!). I decided to get an mp3 player instead of an iPod because i heard that they are quite easily broken. I decided I wanted to get this mp3 because it looks excellent and it has everything i need. The mp3 player looks great, the screen is much larger than an iPod and there is a lot more use of colour. You can also personalise the background which I thought was really good. The instuction manual was vertually useless, it only tells you how to install the cd so that you can put songs and pictures onto the mp3.
