...Found very reliable on reading data from DVD rom discs, cd recordables, cd rewritables, normal cds, dvd videos and audio cds. Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting a DVD drive.

Easy installation takes 5 - 10 minutes, screws included.

Simply pop a disc in and play away.
DVD video software not included, but can be downloaded from various places on the internet....

...The Mitsumi 4802TE CD writer is a reasonable budget buy, It is quite complicated to set-up and can conflict with other devices, for example my Mitsumi CD 48x drive! I had to replace my CDROMdrive to get the writer to work, Once the drive is installed it works reliably and produces the results, It is now slow by today’s standards. The software is useless I replaced mine with Adaptec Easy CD Creator. Even though the drive works, you can still buy better for about the same money. I would not recommend this drive to anyone...

Advantages: saves space in the computer Disadvantages: a little noisy
...This drive combines the reading speed of CDs of 52x, with the writing speed of 52x for CD-Rs and 24x for CD-RW. Impressive already, 16x DVD read it added too. This makes it an excellent way of conbining a DVD player with a CD burner. It is ideal for me because I only have one available space in my computer for a drive so this is the best kind of drive to go for as it saves space.
