I have a pet hate when it comes to Ipods, so when my old MP3 player finally gave up the ghost I replaced it with this sandisc sansa clip 8GB. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's proving to be a handy little device. It is small, good looking, lightweight and holds a fair amount of music. Setup was easy (just plug into a computer and go), with a good 'drag and drop' option for transferring files. The fact that it's compatible with Windows Media Player is also a bonus. The menu is basic, but still clear to read, and radio is as good at the one on my mobile and the controls are easy to use.
The main drawback is probably the need to recharge it with a USB port – though you can get adaptors (I'm currently using the LUPO USB Power adapter mains charger UK) The USB cable itself is also rather short, but it hasn't proven to be too much of a problem.
One other tip I should give is that when you first charge it, don't interrupt it until it's fully charged (this takes about an hour with a USB2 port) My friend has one of these and whilst my battery lasts about 14 hrs, hers only lasts about 8.
Over all, it's a good MP3 player, and excellent value for money.
