Advantages Small, easy to use, micro sd expansion, well made, lots of functions
Disadvantages Easy to get fingerprints on, takes a few seconds to start up
I am very happy with the player. It's nice and small and the display is as good as you will find on a player this size. It's really good having the micro sdexpansion slot too, I have turned my player into what is effectively a 4GB MP3 Player, for very little extra cost.
It takes a few seconds to start up, but then it has got to go through 4GB of music. The sound quality is good, and there are several eq settings that can be used as well as making a custom setting. The build and finish is also very good, it's very shiny with its mirrored front, although it is quite easy to put fingerprints all over it, and the usb cap at the end is very sturdy. As for battery life I have only been using it a few days, but I would say I get about 11 hours out of it, I am generally listening to higher bitrate MP3's though. The head phones that come with it are pretty good too, better than you would find with your average MP3 player. The menus are very easy to navigate and let you do pretty much what you want, although it can take a while to browse through the music due to the small screen. The buttons are quite easy to find and use, and easily big enough to know you are hitting the right one. The display does turn off though while you are playing music, and you can not tell if the player is on or off by looking at it. As soon as you hit any button though the display turns back on, if you want to pause the player you have to hit the button twice, once to turn the screen back on and once to pause the music. I haven't tried setting up any playlists yet, unless you use the go list that is on the player, I think that has to be done on a computer. I also have the version with the radio, which I also find works well, and is very easy to use.
The only thing that I am unsure about with the player is how the micro sd card slots in. Although very unlikely, it could unclip and come out if knocked in the right way, perhaps putting a small cover over the slot would have been better.
