Advantages: Sales guy patient and informative (good service and efficiency) Disadvantages: Finance guy a real pain (poor service and efficiency)
Thre things that might prevent me returning to Sanderson:
- The addition of a final extra charge of £45 for indemnity or something after all the price negotions had been completed
- The two price offer on the car dependent on whether you took the finance offer or not (this is in fact illegal)
- The finance guys assertive incredulity when I did not want to take up his finance offer ("Surely you would rather borrow the money and have it in your bank?" Answer: "I can find someone cheaper to borrow from, namely my own savings")
Not impressed with their probity
However the actual sales guy was very good
And the car was okay (but so it should be as it was a pre-reg with only 25 miles on the clock) ...
Advantages: Wide choice, low pressure environment, competitive prices Disadvantages: There's not enough of them about!
, everything was presented in a "keep safe" envelope very well explained.

We were allowed to inspect the car inside and out before we signed the final handover, and the car came with 30days or 10000 miles warrenty in the event it developed any problems - they would fix them.
Free tax disc holder, cleaned inside and out.... everything working.... phone numbers provided in the event of any problems.....

Advantages: wide range for selection Disadvantages: sometimes long waiting times

They have more than 700 cars on site on the East Midlands, 10 acre carsupermarket display, preparation, and distribution centre, located 1 mile from M1, Castle Donington and they get new stock nearly daily. That gives you a really big choice.
Service
They claim themselvewe not to employ pushy 'Car Salespeople' but 'helpers' from other areas of the retail world. Ánd I have to admit, that I never felt under pressure. I went there several times, as I ...
