I originally bought the SanDisk 8GB micro SDHC card for my Samsung SGH-G600 phone, not having read in the user manual that the maximum capacity card it could accommodate is 2GB. Don't get me wrong, it did work in the phone but it showed a capacity of 1GB and would not allow any ineteraction with the Samsung PC Studio software.
Being somewhat disgruntled that I had wasted my money, the card lay in a drawer unused for about six months until one day, whilst rummaging through my various electronic bits-and-bobs, I found the I had a micro SD adapter.
