...As a pro photographer I use cf cards on a regular basis. This is a fantastic product which has never let me down. 2gb size is practical and although I never had problems with any of my Sandisk cards it is common wisdom that it is better to use several 2gb or 1gb cards rather than a large capacity one. The reason is that when something does go wrong, you do not loose all of your data. The speed is great and I have never experienced any lag with extreme iii cards. The cards are fast but they cannot perform miracles if your camera is slow with a small buffer. Sandisk have recently come up with the "iv" version of this card which is even faster, but for a normal user it is almost impossible to notice any difference. The main difference is in the price-these used to be so expensive!...

...The SandiskExtreme III 4 GB CompactFlash Card is ideal for digital camera's and camcorders. I needed some extra memory for my digital camera so bought this.

This simply makes everything that little bit quicker. It can actually access your data at an incredible speed of 20MB per second!
The SD card...

...there on the market. The cards are really quite easy to install. You just push them into the expansion slot located on the side or underside of your camera. Just make sure that you slot it the right way up or you may damage it.
I have had the SandiskExtreme III 4GB compactflash card for about two six months and have taken about 300 hi-resolution pictures during this perios.
It has worked fine in a variety of weather conditions. According to the manufacturers guide, SandiskExtreme III CompactFlash cards are tested in extreme temperature ranges from -13 to +185 degrees Fahrenheit) so It should continue to work fine in hot or cold climates
.
It will take you a while to use up this 4GB card that should hold nearly 2000 quality photographs with your average 5 megapixel camera nowadays. I have a 6 megapixel camera and have yet to use up all the memory...

Having bought this card to be used in Canon EOS 20D & 40D digital cameras they are extremely rapid and much better than the lower speed Sandisk Compact Flashes or other makes. The cameras have not as yet had to stop shooting to allow the card to catch up more
