Advantages: Large memory capacity, durable for its size, very reliable Disadvantages: None really apart from it being quite small
...The Sandisk Micro-SDHC Secure Digital 8192MB (8 GB) memory card is known as an SD micro card, basically because SD memory cards are the smallest you can currently purchase. It measures in at 15mm x 11mm and comes with an adapter when you purchase the card.
The Micro SD card format is used mainly for mobile phones, because of the sheer size and the cards ability to hold huge amounts of data. Although, mainly built for mobile phone use, SD micro cards like the Sandisk Micro SD 8 GB can be used in devices such as hand-held GPS devices, portable audio players, video game consoles and numerous other devices.

Advantages: Very fast write speed, Low energy consuption. Inexpensive. Disadvantages: Small capacity relative to new camera capabilities
...I bought this card along with my Olympus e-500 camera as it was recommended by the seller from whom I bought it. The recommendation was quite good as the card was relatively inexpensive and is very quick writing to the card, there is little if any storage lag. Energy consumption is low relative to other cards on the market, particularly cards by cheaper manufacturers such as Kingston. This card supports all types of data however to access this functionality a USB connector is required. This particular model of the card is quickly becoming obsolete because of the relatively small amount of datait can hold. Sandisk has similar cards on the market now that can store up to 16 times the amount this card can. However, the card is cheap and is still a very reliable and fast card for use perhaps as a backup or overflow card....

Advantages: Fast, reliable and cheap Disadvantages: none I know of
...As a pro photographer I use cf cards on a regular basis. This is a fantastic product which has never let me down. 2gb size is practical and although I never had problems with any of my Sandisk cards it is common wisdom that it is better to use several 2gb or 1gb cards rather than a large capacity one. The reason is that when something does go wrong, you do not loose all of your data. The speed is great and I have never experienced any lag with extremeiii cards. The cards are fast but they cannot perform miracles if your camera is slow with a small buffer. Sandisk have recently come up with the "iv" version of this card which is even faster, but for a normal user it is almost impossible to notice any difference. The main difference is in the price-these used to be so expensive!...

Having bought this card to be used in Canon EOS 20D & 40D digital cameras they are extremely rapid and much better than the lower speed Sandisk Compact Flashes or other makes. The cameras have not as yet had to stop shooting to allow the card to catch up more
