Advantages: Fast, Cheap Disadvantages: Lack of backwards compatability
...I bought the Sandisk Ultra II 4GB card after purchasing my new 14.6mp camera, which produces RAW files of around 12-14mb! I clearly needed an upgrade because my older 2GB SD cards could only store 70 photos. I wanted a card that would combine speed, capacity, and value for money - and so I landed at the Class 4 SandiskSDHC Ultra II 4GB card. I've had experience with Sandisk before, and wanted to stick with them especially after I found out that this card has a lifetime limited warranty, and has been tested to be compatible with a large range of high-end digital cameras.
The Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 4GB card (Which I will now refer to as "The card" to save any confusion), has read speeds of 10mb/sec, and write speeds of 9mb/sec, producing an excellent performance on my camera.

...like all cards is capable of all media storage from MPEG's to JPEG's including files and folders. This SD card also comes with recovery software appropriately named RescuePRO. This lets you easily recover any data on the card from you PC. This can be done in two ways, via your device or a card reader. This SD card has also been tested in the harshest of temperatures from -13º F to 185º F -25º C to 85º C Min 20MB/second. So you know it will perform whatever the weather when usually cold weather slows things down this will stand its ground.

Having bought this card to be used in Canon EOS 20D & 40D digital cameras they are extremely rapid and much better than the lower speed Sandisk Compact Flashes or other makes. The cameras have not as yet had to stop shooting to allow the card to catch up more
